Lately i've been trying to find the beauty in the world

I like the smell of 6am but I don't like the way it feels
I'm still chasing after something just biting at its heels

I cut my news up into pieces so it's easier to chew
Still it's hard to swallow sometimes I don't know what to do
I'll just take a swig of water try to go on with my day
But this lump in my throat won't seem to go away

I'm trying not to eat so much sugar anymore
And I finally fixed the hole at the bottom of the door
